If you’ve landed here, you’re probably dreaming of beautiful memories, the kind that feel editorial, with bossa, right?
But what does bossa really mean? Bossa doesn’t have a real definition, is a feeling, a state of mind. A signature style born in Brazil in the 60s, when a talented musician created a new rhythm, Bossa Nova, blending jazz with samba and giving life to an indescribable mix of warm sophistication, poetry and soul.
From that decade on, we started calling bossa anything that carries an effortless, naturally charming flow — something you don’t explain, you simply recognise. That’s how I would describe my approach: elegance with bossa, for those who like effortlessly beautiful, stylish frames.
I’m Raquel Pires, an International Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer based in Sydney, born in Brazil and with an open heart for destinations around the world.
